Ferrero's latest sustainability report is out, and FoodNavigator's coverage highlights the role Sourcemap plays in one of the most ambitious traceability programs in the food industry.
The results speak for themselves:
98% of cocoa traced to origin
98.6% of palm oil
97% of hazelnuts
100% of coffee
Nearly 230,000 supplier locations reviewed
Ferrero uses Sourcemap for supply chain mapping and traceability, paired with satellite monitoring, to run deforestation risk assessments across every plantation linked to its supply chains. The company calls the result "a robust and highly detailed system for monitoring and oversight."
Verified traceability at this scale is what turns sustainability commitments into evidence. With EUDR deadlines here for cocoa, palm oil and coffee, that evidence is now a market requirement.
Congratulations to the Ferrero team on the progress in this year's report. Read the full article: https://www.foodnavigator-usa.com/Article/2026/07/07/ferrero-traceability-tech-sourcemap-starling-drive-supply-chain-visibility/
