Canada’s Fighting Against Forced Labor and Child Labor in Supply Chains Act / Canada S-211 has been in force since May 31, 2024. It is similar in scope to the US Forced Labor Ban, which requires companies to map their upstream supply chains and to trace at-risk shipments bound for import. Canada S-211 applies to any company that operates in Canada and that has $20 million or more in assets, $40 million or more in revenue, or an average of 250 or more employees. Canada S-211 is industry-agnostic and has broad implications for global supply chains.
